Penybont FC approached us as an ambitious football club looking to improve upon their brand identity that would better reflect their expected progression into the Welsh Premier League. This included a completely new website and social media strategy to help generate new followers and market the club as a professional outfit.
We designed and developed a new website with many features that would improve the users experience whilst navigating the site. The latest results, fixtures and league tables were all updated dynamically, with dedicated pages for each of the different sides under the Penybont FC umbrella that included message boards and training information to view.
The Venue previously had its own website with no tie to the football club, so for the new website we created its own page highlighting the various features and price structure of rooms to hire. An events page included a calendar with information on upcoming events and fixtures for the 1st team so users can stay up to date with what’s going on at The Venue and the club as a whole. This is all helped in producing one of the most profitable months the club has witnessed in the past 3 years at The Venue in February 2019. The club was also given a special mention at an FAW meeting, with committee members praising the club as having one of the top two websites in the Welsh League.
After completing and setting the new website live, we created a new Facebook page with an aim to further promote the football club and drive users towards the new website. We helped grow the page through strategic competitions that would help raise the awareness of The Venue at the same time. The Facebook page followed the branding we created for the website to give the club a sense of consistency across all platforms.
